SUNDAY GATHERING @ 10:30am We meet at 10:30am on Sunday mornings and services last about an hour and a half. You can find out how to get here on the 'find us' page. Our services involve a mixture of prayers and songs and we share communion together every other week. We use the symbols of a candle and a bible to help focus our worship. We also share the peace with one another, greeting each other by shaking hands or by holding hands. At special times of year we also have extra services, especially around Easter and Christmas.
TUESDAY PRAYERS: 2.30pm Everybody at John Bunyan tries to pause and pray at 2.30pm on Tuesdays. For many that happens at home, at work, or on the bus. For those who can make it in person we meet at 2.30pm in the church foyer to pray together for half an hour. If you'd like to send us a prayer request, you can use the box in the church sanctuary or email Wale or you can drop in.
FUNERALS, WEDDINGS, BABY BLESSINGS & HOUSE BLESSINGS There are many other services that take place at JBBC to mark big life events, such as funerals and weddings. We want to care for you through the joys and challenges that life brings: through preparing for your own death, or helping you the death of someone you love, through preparing for marriage and when children are welcomed into families through birth, fostering or adoption. We can also pray with you at home, perhaps when you move house, or because of illness or if there's something you especially need prayer about.
